Doing stuff for The Witness, which is the next game from the creator of Braid.

Co-founder Koduco Games (Y Combinator S10), 2010-present
Exploring human-computer interaction problems through cooperative games for shared multi-touch devices. Created audiovisual assets. Designed and coded PongVaders game for iOS.

Lead Researcher at Web Ecology Project, 2009
Founding member of the Web Ecology Project, an independent research group dedicated to building a science around social media. Promoted manifesto of rigorous studies of internet culture. Prepared presentations and materials for multi-state trip pitching work to research and marketing companies.

Software Developer, Designer at Measuring Success, 2008 – 2009
Built an in-house tool to automate consulting slide deck creation. Consultants used the tool to design deck templates. Charts and text fields would then be populated with data from Excel files. Sped up deck creation from linear time dependent on the number of clients to constant time.

QA Tester & Spec Writer at Harmonix Music Systems, 2007 – 2008

Senior Intern at Hood Museum of Art, 2006 – 2007
Devised and curated an exhibition exploring typographic imagery. Redesigned the museum’s webpage to maximize usability and hits to key pages. Identified ancient Mycenaean potsherds.

  • Y Combinator Summer 2010 founder.
  • Designed shirts that sold for $100 a piece to raise money for the Babycastles gallery in NYC.
  • Interviewed by Edge Magazine about multiplayer and touch games.
  • Conducted a panel on online communities at SXSWi in 2010.
  • Produced antagonistic physical interface for a computer which was shown in several small galleries.
